Shy chihuahua duo are looking for a home together

Lady and Tiddles are incredibly nervous around new people

A pair of Chihuahuas are looking for a new home in Manchester with owners who can help build up their confidence.

Lady and Tiddles, both rescues, come as a pair and need to be rehomed together.

The adorable duo have quite the bond so Dogs Trust in Manchester is looking for adopters happy to take them both on.

But they are looking for a very specific kind of home.

The sweet pair are extremely shy around new people and seem to prefer the company of each other and other small dogs, but with a little patience and time spent bonding, they’ll lap up a gentle fuss.

And they’re partial to a few treats too.

Four-year-old Tiddles and five-year-old Lady both enjoy a spot of sunbathing, as well as tucking into a hot dog or two - what a life!

They’re now looking for a home that allows them to continue this way of life, as well as owners prepared to work with the dogs on building their confidence. Because of this, they need a home with more than one person.

They can live with children over the age of 16 who can understand they will take time to come around but any homes with smaller children visiting will not be suitable, or any homes that have a lot of visitors in fact.

Because of their shy nature, they’ll need walks only in quieter areas and although they seem okay around smaller dogs, they can become a little worried. Because of this, they’ll need to be the only dogs in the house and also cannot live with cats, other small animals or birds..
