Our hearts completely break for five-year-old Tia Maria who has watched each and every one of her puppies be rehomed, leaving her alone in the rescue centre.
Tia Maria and her puppies were rescued by Dogs Trust Bridgend. The team are over the moon that the puppies were snapped up quickly, but are desperate to make sure Tia Maria gets the home she deserves.
Dogs Trust Bridgend’s Assistant Manager, Anna Lucey said: “It’s wonderful that all the pups have been adopted but we would love to see doting mum Tia Maria find her special someone too.
“She’s a firm favourite amongst the staff but it would be lovely if she could be given the chance to have the love of a great family.”
The loving Lurcher is a shy but affectionate dog who has a ‘sweet and gentle nature’.
She can live with children over aged 11 but needs to be the only pet in the home. She has not been left alone much recently but this could be built up over time.
Anna added: “Tia Maria is well and truly ready to find a forever family so it would be wonderful to wave a fond farewell to her so she can enjoy all the home comforts we know their puppies are experiencing with their families in their new homes.”
If, like us, you cannot resist the eyes of this left behind Lurcher and think you can give Tia Maria the loving home she deserves, start the application process.
