Taking photos of our dogs isn’t already the easiest thing in the world, they always seem to move just as we’re about to get the perfect shot.

But one dog who’s got posing in front of the camera mastered is Afghan Hound Iraida.

Described as ‘obedient’ and ‘chilled out’, this beautiful dog has been modelling since she was a puppy with the latest brands to add to her ever-growing repertoire, fashion retailers Adidas and Asos.

What an achievement that is!

But this professional pooch is no stranger to the limelight. She’s got a whole host of other big names under her belt including River Island, Gucci, Burberry and Chanel. She’s even worked alongside girlband Little Mix.

When it comes to canine modelling, Iraida the Afghan Hound is an international powerhouse with work featured globally.

It’s not hard to see why she’s so popular, just look at that beautiful coat!

Astonishingly, Iraida needs to be groomed once a week and can take up to four hours to get her looking her best for a shoot. Wow!

Adidas and Asos obviously saw something special in Iraida as she was chosen to appear alongside social media influencer and fashion model Alicia Roddy (@lissyroddyy) to model their brand new Tennis Luxe collection.

The 36-piece sportswear collection features everything from retro-inspired skirts and cropped tees, to cardigans, pleated dresses and, of course, Adidas Originals trainers.

We think she’s done a great job, and so does Layla Flaherty, director of modelling agency Urban Paws. She even described her as the Cara Delevingne of the dog world.

She said: “She's fantastic on set...sometimes Afghan Hounds they're known to be quite aloof and they're really hard to train, but Iraida, she's probably an exception of the breed, and she responds really well on set.

“She is the Cara Delevingne of the dog world. People are always amazed at how well she works on set, she loves being on set and the feedback of the day was fantastic. It was positive, really positive.

“She is probably the top of her game in terms of pet modelling, and it's a privilege really that we get so many requests for her.

With Wimbledon 2021 just around the corner, you’ll probably be seeing more of Iraida’s work in promoting the Tennis Luxe collection.
