A gorgeous puppy is in need of a new home after being given up following a life changing diagnosis.

Ernie, a nine-month-old Bulldog puppy is currently being looked after by Ravens Rescue UK after he was handed over to them in February this year.

Sadly, his owners had to make the tough decision to let him go after he was diagnosed with Spina Bifida.

However, the rescue says they did the right thing in asking them for help. Ernie's Spina Bifida means he is double incontinent but this doesn’t affect his love and zest for life.

Giving a dog a loving home is one of the most rewarding things we can do and giving a forever home to one who also has a life-long condition is tough but so rewarding.

If you think that could be you, then Ernie is one gorgeous boy who is waiting to be showered with kisses and cuddles.

He is a normal happy bouncy pup although Ernie does need wear a nappy but it doesn’t phase him at all, however, he does have regular 'naked' time!

This means he gets to play and run around nappy free. Ernie needs a home with someone who fully understands his needs and is willing to carry on with the correct care that suits Ernie.

He needs someone who will be home for most of the day due to his condition.

If you think you could welcome Ernie into your home, then get in touch with Ravens Rescue UK.
