We all wonder now and then what it would be like if dogs were able to talk, would they always be asking for treats, going on walks or play with their favourite toys?
Well one dog seems to have mastered the power of human speech that would certainly get Simon Cowell's attention.
A TikTok video of a husky named Hugo has sparked an online debate as to whether he actually spoke.
During the clip, uploaded by user @cheekclapper24_7_365, a woman is shown standing in front of a full-length mirror seemingly on her way out.
She is shown doing a last-minute check of her outfit, sporting a red shirt, light brown flared trousers and holding a small white handbag.
That’s when white, fluffy Hugo trots up behind.
He quickly stops, turns to look looks up to their owner, letting out a deep growl, which sounds like the pup is saying: "Where are you going?"
You can watch Hugo and decide whether he spoke here.
The footage is hilariously captioned: "I was just trying to see if my outfit was cute".
This has led to thousands of people convinced that Hugo can talk.
In just under three weeks, the funny scenario has been watched more than 8.3 million times and gained over 2.1 million likes.
Several viewers shared their thoughts in the comment section, with many people agreeing that the hound has a secret talent and seems to have spoken English.
One person said: “So adorable! And such a distinguished voice!”
Another TikTok user jokingly replied: “I’m pretty sure that was a compliment.”
A viewer also commented: "He is telling you that you look fabulous."

Other responses included that they thought the dog had said "What are you wearing?" and "Well hello."
Hugo's owner has since continued to post other TikTok videos where she showcases her fashion style with her pup humorously rating her latest outfits.
We wonder whether the duo will consider signing up for auditions when Britain's Got Talent returns next year.
